Who is responsible for your data
yonigolan.com is run by Yoni Golan, Israel. For any privacy question or request: hello@yonigolan.com.
What is collected
- When you send the contact form: your name, phone or email, the topics you ticked and your message, with the time, the country it came from (from the network, never a precise location) and the page language.
- Flood protection: your IP address is kept for about an hour only, to limit how many messages can be sent, and is then deleted automatically.
- Visit statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics, with no cookies and nothing that identifies you: aggregate visit counts only.
- Kept on your own device and never sent to us: a language cookie (lang) when you pick a language, for a year; your best scores in the Lab games; and a note that the opening animation already played in this visit.
Why it is used
Only to get back to you about your message, understand what you need and prepare a quote. No marketing email, and your data is never sold or given to anyone for marketing.
Do you have to give it
No. Giving your details is your choice and no law requires it. Without a name and a way to reach you, we simply cannot reply.
Who receives it
- Cloudflare hosts the site and the messages and sends the email that carries your message; it works for us as an infrastructure provider.
- Google (Gmail) is the mailbox your message arrives in.
- These providers' servers may be outside Israel and outside the EEA. Beyond them, your data is shared with no one unless the law requires it.
How long it is kept
A message is kept for up to two years, on the site and in the mailbox, and then deleted. If we work together, project records and invoices are kept as record-keeping law requires.
Your rights
You can see the data kept about you and ask to correct or delete it by writing to hello@yonigolan.com; you will get an answer within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or the UK, the data is processed to take steps you asked for before a possible contract and in our legitimate interest in replying, and you may also object, ask for a copy, and complain to your data protection authority. In Israel you may turn to the Privacy Protection Authority.
Cookies
The only cookie is the language cookie, set only when you choose a language, to remember that choice. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
